ENGINE OIL COOLER to cool or not to cool

WINTER PROJECT...109 stroker QUESTION ..engine oil cooler is contaminated ,, should i run new engine with out a oil cooler

I haven't run an oil cooler on my car for several years since I installed the F-body radiator and PTE oil system...My water temp always runs around 160 so I can't imagine the oil getting much hotter.

thanks WHAT no pro engine builders ..these strokers cost a lot of money when there all finished so i dont to screw up

I was told that oil runs alteast 60 degrees hotter than your water....

Do you plan to hard block any? If yes, I would say go with an oil cooler for sure, even if not hard block, what would it hurt?
