Eastwood carries a line of high-temp ceramic engine paints that can be foam brushed(gun applied would lay down better). I use an etching cast aluminum mag cleaner for the cast parts, it's aggressive at getting into the pores and releasing the built-up grim! I then protect the clean surface with a satin clear coat,
