engine problems

hi my gn starts fine when i put it in drive it stalls and some times it doesn't start i wait a while it start and i smell gas. andy

Motor Problem

Hi, My 87 gn starts up fine but sometimes it stalls when i put it into drive.
I checked the cables and the gas line looks good. I also changed the gas filter. I smell gas sometimes too. Is there anything else I should look at. Thanks, Andy

I would look at the injectors! They might be leaking down .Do you have a fuel pressure gauge? check too see if it holds pressure when you shut the engine off
