HELP...

The "Engine Service" light came on today. It started started flickering, now its steady light. The TTYPE still starts up and runs.

The problem is I can't get any code reading from the ALDL connector. When my Service Engine light came on, my Scanmaster (sorta died). When I got home, I plugged my TLink in and a message said it cannot get connected. I even plugged in one of those cheap code readers & that didn't register anything.

What can it be??? EMC?? The TType still starts but I think it might be running in batch mode or something.

thanks in advance... dave

A steady SES light means that you have no power to the ECM. Assuming that the orange connecter near the battery is plugged in, the next place to check is at the ECM fuse.
