Ok i have a question,i have a trans brake and when i load it up i get about 3300 before the engine starts to shake (stall) and i have 0 boost.
If i keep pushing the gas will my boost come up even though i am at my stall rpm??
I have not tried it yet and i am new to trans brakes.........i do not want to brake anything.

Thanks.

Uhh, you really feel the motor shake? That doesn't sound right.

The motor not revving higher or building boost could be caused by several things:
  • Improper fueling (too little or too much),
  • Improper Timing,
  • Too big a cam,
  • Leak in the intake tract, post turbo,
  • Too big a turbo, or the Biggie -
  • Leak in the exhaust stream, pre-turbo.
However, if you hold your foot "into it" the motor should start to build boost (once the exhaust energy really 'hits') and you'll go right through the advertised stall speed. I typically launch of the T-brake at well over 4,000 and my converter is ~3,200 stall.

Thanks for the reply, i should have said i can see the motor shake.
I guess i will stay on it then and all should be fine,i just did not want to push it without be positive.
