esc relay replacement ?

I had posted earlier with a bunch of questions, but at the moment mostly just needed this answered.

The engine I had gotten didn't come with the esc start relay so I am trying to find a replacament. The GM dealer says they're discontinued so I am wondering what people are using for replacements. The function looks like a basic relay, like a horn relay - but is there any other concerns like amperage or anything.

this is on a 79 turbo, non-ecm

I don't think people are ignoring you. It's a great question, but I doubt if anyone has the answer. I would suspect it's not special. It just stops the ESC from reatrding timing at start up. (There's a lot of noise or "false knock" caused by the starter engaging).
