Who are these people? Location? What were they selling?

How were you ripped-off?

Evans race products is in Canada. I ordered a block girdle last October and didn't recieve it till late January. I was giving mulitple excusses. I didnt complain. I just asked to be informed. I recicved the piece and it was a nice quality product. I had also bought some steel center mains from them a few months back with absolutly no problems. I was very pleased. I was a little disappointed with the wait for the block girdle but I got it and it was alot cheaper then in the US. I got 2 emails from them this morning. One saying there going out of busuiness and the other saying he is going to abuse my credit card. I don't understnad what is going on. It is a serious threat in my opion.

hotmail? Has their e-mail ALWAYS been thru hotmail? Sounds like a prank (maybe) but I'd definitely be getting in touch with your CC company and informing THEM...

you might also contact MSN about this, furnish them with the e-mail properties, which should have ALL info concerning WHEN and WHERE the e-mail originated from...

Any other info about this company?

definetly contact your cc company. souns like some is losing it upstairs. no need for you to pay fror that:eek:

I emial a copy to my CC company. I think this might be a threat to get me to go throught the hassle of cancleing my card.

Their hotmail account was broken into. Just got a mail from them:

>Hello everyone. Sorry for the emails coming >from evansrace. We did not send
>them. Our hotmail account must have a virus, >or have been hacked. We are not
>going out of business, and do not use >peoples credit cards. Thanks for you
>patience and understanding.
