I ran out the first time out with a friend. Before i knew that the gauge was inaccurate under 1/4 tank. Changed the fuel filter and was going to drop the tank. So i knocked on the tank and it sounded hollow, i was like NO FLIPPIN WAY! Put gas in and drove the bitch home. 3 hours of sitting in a parking lot like a dumbass.

I JUST did that exact same thing, my needle gauge read 1/4 tank and it cut out and died, I left it at work in the parking lot for 3 days while i ordered a fuel filter and new fuel pump, knocked on the tank by accident while i was under there and knew something was up. I told all the guys i work with that i screwed up the wiring during a stereo install....i'll get around to telling them some day.
