I am about to buy a 2 1/2 system. My questions is which is the best. The KB system or the hooker system. What I want is a good quite system. I hear that both systems are quite and good horse power. I only difference to me is the price tag which is about $20.00 the difference between the two. Which one is better and quieter.

For what it is worth, You cant beat the Hooker for the price and performance. Nice smooth mandrel bends all the way through, and mine shipped with the Aero Chambers straight thru flow mufflers:D But if you really want to go the distance the ATR stainless system, hands down the best one out there. But like i said for the $$$ you cant beat the hooker. Its aluminized steel, so it can rust under heavy moisture and water. But if you live in the dry climate like me it will probably last you forever.

The Hooker is a 2.5" inch mandrel bent system. It is only aluminized so it will only have a normal life expectancy. It's a good system for the money though. Spend a couple dollers and get the new walker aluminized ultra flows.

I have the hooker system on my car and am happy with it. It sounds good and I have had no problems with it. It was on the car when I bought it so I cannot tell you how the installation went.

I haven't heard too much about the Hooker system, but I have the ATR stainless and it looks and sounds great. Not too loud and it flows extremely well. Not cheap though.

The KB system sucks. The fit is terrible.Thats why I'm getting enough together to buy an ATR 3" kit.

Hooker here too. Dollars no object, I'd have used stainless-but couldn't justify twice the $, although a few days after ordering the set for my '87, I saw pinholes in the 3 year old Hooker system on my "properly stored" '86. Not good...

one more vote for the Hooker

I'm on my second Hooker system, first one lasted about
6-7 years. Fits well and sounds great, I've got no complaints.
:)

I have the Hooker system and like it. Just wish it was louder. Mine came with the Aero chamber muffs, made with thick steel like a Flowmaster, should hold up well. Time will tell though.

My Kenne-Bell is stainless and fit perfectly. Only 9 years old now upgraded to stainless Ultraflows.

My ATR 3" crossflow system also stainless required some tweaking to make it fit and it's simply okay nothing special but didn't require any hole drilling.

If you are just looking for aluminized get the Hooker system.

If you want a big $$$ stainless system the Kenne-Bell works just fine.
