jack cotton sells a very nice aluminized single shot with a stainless muffler for around $375.00. got it on my car and it sounds great!

If you are not running a cat-converter it will sound like a rice car. That annoying bee attack sound.
To each their own.
I am required to have a Cat-converter here in Colorado. I am considering adding another muffler to silence it even more! When you get "old" you'll start to hate the loud noise too! :wink:

$239 for half a dual exhaust system?
i guess if someone's willing to pay that, then they should try to sell as many as possible.

Dual exhaust? Why?
You don't need dual exhaust unless you want to haul more weight... and have that V8 look. It does not flow more so why do it?

i've been thinking of running a big single pipe, but the money they charge for them is insane- there are companies out there that sell 3" dual kits for G bodies that cost as much as that single pipe does. granted, they are designed to hook up to headers on a V8, but hooking a passenger side pipe from one of those kits up to our cars can't be that hard. the trick is getting them to sell just the passenger side pipe..

You can surely get someone to build you what you need
3" straight pipe... a good muffler of choice 3" in/out... and a hoop piece to go over the rear end.
Business's have overhead costs, and they must pay employee health insurance. What do you expect? Ebay continues to raise their sales fees as well.
I am the guy that walks amongst the turbo Buick owners and say's openly, "He must wish he had a V8!" :biggrin: Yes... I poke fun at you guys for having a dual exhaust system. :biggrin:
