Just been reading alot of post about having a good tune....but what does a good tune consist of? Is it just buying a chip, setting the boost and fuel pressure then your good to go? Or for a guy like me with a scanmaster and tt chip how do i set up a tune? what I`m i looking for to make sure everything in the motor is on the same page....or do i just run it until i see knock?

Good tune is just good afr with maximum boost and timing with no knock....maybe with leaner in first gear etc...what you would call optimized for whatever combo your running

I would add "in every cylinder" as each cylinder responds different. The key is getting them to work together, then what was posted above.

While that's 100% true. It's not really practical nor achievable to the average user here. First of all you'll need a way to monitor each cylinder individually. Either by 6 widebands, or 6 EGT's, or becoming a plug reading expert. None of which is practical for the average "joe".
Even if attainable, then one would need a way to dynamically change fuel delivery on an individual cylinder basis, also not achievable by us ordinary users.

The best one could hope for iin everday usage would be able to monitor air/fuel ratio, and be able to tune timing, boost and fuel delivery for optimum use through new tuneable chips, or the newer Translators or other devices.
