Ext Wastegate ?

i am wanting to replace my current ATR external gate. cottons has a 42mm racegate, will this be an easy swap or is the mounting different? the atr is a bolt on not a clamp. thanks in advance

ATR = Turbonetics Deltagate = Tial 38mm wastegate bolt pattern.

Those 3 are inter-changeable between each other, as far as bolt pattern and inlet and outlet orientation is concerned.
Do yourself a huge favor, and get a Tial 38mm with the special valve that is designed to be run with leaded race gas. You might have to wait a few more days to get it, but trust me on this one, get the one with the special valve for use with leaded race gas. You will thank me later for this. Why are you replacing your ATR gate? I have the ATR one and boost doesn't start until 3500 rpm. I can't find any exhaust leaks and I suspect the gate. I removed it but don't see anything obvious. Are you having any issues with yours or are you just "modernizing"?

modernizing i guess, i did notice the atr is larger then the turbonetics i bought. am i limited on hp levels with the 38mm? i know it says 500hp but how true is that?

Don't pay attention to hp numbers. they really don't mean much. Post your combo and desired boost levels and we can help you determine the right wastegate with more efficiency.
