Extender Race Chip

Does it make sense to get an Extender Race Chip with the T+? I currently have a 93 Extender with the T+. When I go to the track I increase base timing at the trans and also adjust the fueling at WOT. Is there any need to get a race chip for high octane? I assume the only real difference is the inj. duty cycle and timing between the chips. Any thoughts?

That's the beauty of the T+ and Extender combination. You have a race chip, a street chip and anything in between you want.

My Extender is a 98 octane variety. That is to say, it's base timing is around 23 degrees or so. I set the timing back for street use, and set it up for race use.

As a matter of fact, my last trip to the track (Las Vegas) was using my Extender chip, and it was the quickest and fastest my car has ever run with any other "specialty" race chips!!!

You've got top notch equipment, use it. Don't waste money buying more chips you don't need.
