Picked up a used Kenwood KMR-700U, $60 CL, Yes a boat radio. This radio pretty much has everything I need for my system, Ipod, XM, USB, AUX in, and RCA's for Front, rear, and sub. No bluetooth and have to try the lightniing adaptor for my Iphone 5. I like this radio due to the size similar to factory and doesn't look "too" high-tech. Simple conversion just remove faceplate and duplicate on plexiglass. And expect to spend some time on a Dremel. To CNC this was an arm and a leg, unless you have a buddy that can hook you up!

Only issue, BLUE lights :( Thanks for looking!

Great job, always nice to have unique items in your car.

Cool!
Any pics of it powered up? Also dig the cig lighter...... Where is that lighter from?

Thanks guys! I'm currently adding a chrome strip around the screen to blend in a little bit more before mounting. Lighter is from a BMW 328i my daughter had totaled. It reminds me how lucky she was to survive a head on collision with a truck, and walk away with a bruised chin from the air bag. Lighter doesn't work tho, but I don't smoke :)
