It would be great meeting the great Jeff Rand (you can come too Lou as long as bring a toolbag)...arn't a "few" GN's scheduled to appear? Weather should be dry by then. I always rent trailer so must be pre-prepared (yes Jeff I bring a rope, for those that drive to/from track). Kinda-supposed meet wife in SF that weekend, but she knows how I luv that concubine (GN), I'll have to behave myself 'till then. Anyway, as we get closer hopefully a few will confirm & we'll have a blast.

Actually I consider Jeff a good friend & sport. He's been a devout Buick enthusiast for many years. He has an annoying tendency to mind his own business.This is troubling & may indicate a possible character flaw But alas no one is perfect.Anytime he should chose to mend his ways my door is always open for spiritual guidance at a reasonable fee. How about that screwed up fan circuit that causes your fan to run all the time.Eventually the fan will fail plus its drawing on the charging system & robbing power cause the alt is running overtime to cover the additional load.

Yeah, that's on the to-do list.
I still work with the guy I bought the GN from and keep meaning to ask him if he wired it up funny to cause that....

Things are working out that I will be going the 27th. Look forward to seeing you there Jeff, & will be cool to see a few other GN's. Other guys from Fresno will be going but I'm the only GN.
Hope weather will be clear again by then, & not awfully busy (will be the weekend before March Meet).

I just noticed that this Bakersfield TNT is a two day deal. You have to pay $90 for the two days (even if you plan on just going one day). Spectators also have to pay for the two days ($30). Normally this is not a problem for me but my wife is out of town and I have a bunch of animals that will need someone to watch them. I will try to get a sitter for next weekend.

A buddy thought so few wks ago, but entry fee was not posted until very recently, sneaky

That complicates things when combined with $55 for trailer rental & perhaps get rained out. Was last week-end rained out? If so, that & fact next week is March Meets may make it very crowded with only 3 runs if lucky & stay all day.
Still wanna go, esp. to see other GN's, but all above puts a damper on it.
