Fan electric question

I have an 86 stock gn. I'm trying to figure out why the fan won't turn on when the car is running even wen hot. as soon as I turn the car off the fan turns on for about 5 minutes.
Where to start?

Maybe the low and /or high speed fan relay is bad? On the Driver side fender.

Same s*** I changed the relays and its having the same problem when the car is on fan is off when they turn the ignition off the fan goes on
