"fan temp sensor"?

I have an 87GN.
What is the switch underneath the throttle body just to the right? Not the IAC. Someone told me it is the "fan temp switch". What is this part and what is the part number? Mine is cracked/broken.

The fan temp sensor is on the driver's side mounted on top of the intake whereas the trouble lite sensor is on the passenger side mounted in the front of the intake. Which one are you referring to? "Right" depends upon which way you are facing.

If you're talking about the one mounted vertically on the intake under the throttle linkage then it's the Coolant Temp Switch #3053190...

That's a common part and you can probably get it local parts store. $18 bones is a little steep
