FAST harness to laptop plug help needed

Geez what next??!
My newer laptop has three rows of holes and my FAST harness has two rows of holes - both female.

My old laptop had the two rows with male prongs - hooked right up to the FAST plug

Now what do I do? Is there an adapter or something?

Yeas, get a USB adaptor from FAST. Newer laptops don't have serial
data ports

You were looking at the monitor port not a serial port. Be careful choosing one from Radio Shack, not all of them seem to work with FAST and only a few work with the XFI.

Thanks Cal. You're correct, I was looking at the wrong port. Yes, that is the monitor port on the laptop. It was the closest in appearance to the port I thought I wanted. Wrong!

I saw this after I had purchased the serial to USB cable. Fortunately it does work with my classic FAST
