fast xfi install questions.

Sorry I have tried doing a search but only answered a few of my questions. Bought the setup used and have no instructions. Too impatient to keep searching. Any input would be helpful.

1. Reading posts about needing a MAT sensor in the doghouse. Heard of people using the Iat sensor but where does it plug into? Stock harness iat plug?

2. Can I just take my maf sensor out to go mafless or what is the process to go mafless.

take out maf you dont need it..xfi runs speed density (fuel based on pressure and rpm)
you will need a 3bar map sensor
software can be downloaded from fuelairspark.com

if you have the caspers adapter box be sure to attach the ground to the dash before powering up

iat is same as mat , you can take the stock sensor from by the air cleaner and install it into the intake , the plenum or the up pupe before the throttle body
i find plenum easier , just drill and tap a 3/8npt hole below the throttle cable and the stock wiring will reach if you undo it from the loom
