I am running Steve Yalkins MaxEffort-R (Open loop,No MAF,3 Bar Map sensor). It runs great, idles smooth, and spools my TE63-1 like a stocker(!). My question is can a stock ECM be moddied to run faster processing? Just curious.

Not with any reasonable amount of work.
And there's no real reason to. You can with extensive work recode the ecm to run a much shorter program, so that the outputs are up dated more often, but again you can get to the point of demeanissing returns.
The stocker is very effeicent at running code.
