Noticed the car started to Idle real rough, so I thought I'd do some tuning on it, So started with plugs, wires, and went on to the iac (adjusting and cleaning) and tps adjustments. after I did that, I'd thought I would try a different street chip, got a faolty eprom code. So I took that one out and put in the one I had before same Eprom code. So could one chip be bad and I put the first one back in and it went bad all of a sudden. What could have happened? Thanks Carlos

Did you make sure the chip was facing the right direction? Pushed in all the way? No bent pins on the chips?

Chip #2 may have already been zapped when you put it in. You may have zapped chip #1 when you took it out to put in chip #2.

You may want to remove the chip, unplug the orange ECM wire to reset the ECM and then try the "previously known good" chip. If the problem still exits, I can potentially fix them both for you. Shoot a Private Message to me if you are interested.
