anyone using them on a street car. can electric windows still be used. any negatives. tired of these rusted heavvvyyy metal doors.

Yes you can run power windows in fiberglass doors. Your best bet is to use Street Rod power window kits as they are lighter & give you universal brackets & tracks that are easier to mount. If you really want to drop some pounds you can run power lexan windows.

I was looking for pre cut/molded Lexan windows for the GN when I stumbled across this website: Glasstek First time I've seen fiberglass doors for G-bodies. They make the lexan windows custom for each individual application. I was thinking about doing this. Don't want to butt in on this thread but but do you know of any place that sells Drop in replacement Lexan windows and windshields for the GN? I figure it would be cheaper than having it custom fitted.
