This is a GN fiberglass hood with the '3.8 SFI yada yada' emblems. I'm not sure if I'm going to go back to steel but at the least I'm going to go to a newer style fiberglass that can hold a hoodliner. This hood has served me well but it is not perfect. I would prefer the sale to happen in Bowling Green where the buyer can see what he is getting before money changes hands. I'll be in Bowling Green for the entire week of the event and then I'm heading to North Carolina to GBody parts. Let me know if you are interested and a small deposit ($45) will hold it for the first person that posts they want it and sends the deposit. No paypal fees. At this time I will not ship......or rather shipping will have to be entirely arranged by the buyer. Like I said though I would prefer you to see it. IMO it will need to be painted if your car grades higher than a 6. I'll post pics if needed.

I'll take it for $150 I live in south carolina So I can meet you on your way to the Gbody if that's good for you.
Give me a call 843-307-3626

Yes it is bolt on hinges and latches. It mounts just like a stock hood. I'm going to take a few pictures of it and post them in this thread shortly. T Dollar, I really want to leave Bowling Green with a new style fiberglass or steel hood on my car. I'll be driving the car to Bowling Green with this fiberglass hood on it. I can't leave Bowling Green with both hoods so the sale will have to happen there. I have one member that has claimed they want it and I am awaiting the deposit. I'm keeping track of everyone interested so that I can give everyone their shot at this in the order in which they said they wanted it.

The spiderweb looking stuff in the last pic has been on the hood since I've owned the car in 2000. Its not weaker in any sense in those areas. I don't think that they are anything more than the paint cracking due to lack of a flex agent being in the paint. You will see for yourself that its not beyond the surface of the paint.
