Glasstek hood fitting issues?

Got a question pertaining to your Glasstek 4" cowl. Did you have problems with opening the hood the whole way because the cowl hit the windshield? I put mine on this week and the hood only opens up about 3/4" of the way. Any information you have would be greatly appreciated!
