GOD, I finally found that DAMN AIR NOISE I was getting during Boost!!!

And I wanna thank everyone on this board that gave me the suggestions I needed to find this little PIA! =-}

Special thanks goes out to ED VAHLIN for sending me down the right path which ultimately was correct!

It was the DAMN EGR VALVE!!!!

And what's funny is, I CHECKED IT, it HELD VAcuum....BUT When a substantial amount of AIR was applied {Boost!!} I guess the little tear GREW and loss tons of air pressure!

Go figure!

Ok, but here's the question of the day. How is boost even getting into the EGR parts???? There's a small check valve right in front of the EGR valve in the line that supplies vacuum to the EGR valve and solenoid.

Got one? Is it broke?

GOOD CALL DAVE!!!

yes its broke, but why is it broken??
is the check valve going the correct way?? black side goes toward t-body

if its bad, or missing, i think you can get one from NAPA-

HTH

Another GOOD catch guys!!!

The check valve is IN place, and the BLACK side is towards the TB, the WHITE side towards EGR.

Now, I "blew" through this thing when I had it off, and it seems to work well, air going only one way......but then again I am not capable of pushing 18lbs of air pressure like my car can!

I hope NAPA does have them, I'll pick up a couple.
