After lusting over them for years I dove off into the world of turbo Buicks last night.

I picked up a 1 owner 85 GN with most all options, 125,000 and a spun rod bearing. The clear coat is peeling but otherwise in very nice condition. The former owner had it worked on only by dealerships and spent $6000 on it last year replacing the turbo, powermaster, A/C, brakes, stereo and rebuilding the front suspension.

My plans for now are to turn the crank and put the engine back together stock. After getting it running I will strip and paint it.

Lots of questions to come I am sure!!!

Thanks!

Go see Bob and Bob Jr. at R and R Restoration there in Longview. They are big time Buick buffs and know quite a bit about these cars. As well as everything else. Good luck with the car.....

I went to college with Jr. and my wife was co-editor of the high school yearbook with Bob's daughter. I had not thought of them in a long time. Good call. Thanks!
