Ok it is a SMC unit..used... couple problems... one the low level does not work the light did not come on when empty... second the spray on LEd does not work...

Test button pushed at idle makes the engine stumble so it is spraying then anyway... I took it for a test drive 15-16 psi and I can't tell any difference... in power... I made one pass holding the test button down the full pass no stumbles no change in the way the car ran.... when I got home I can see the level in the jug dropped about 2 to 3 inches so it was spraying probably on ever run ... I just can't seem tell it is on or not by feel or anything.... I expected to have some adjusting to do ... I tried ever position on the dials full pump speed etc... nothing....
The guy I purchased it form had drilled the nozzle out even and thought I might have get a smaller nozzle since my car is not as modded with the stock turbo... Do I just need to turn up the boost some and take advantage of the alcohol ?

You need to crank the boost up or you will just lose power by running richer. I'd turn the actuator rod three times and watch for knock. Ease into it slowly to make sure the alky is coming on, and if it knocks more than one degree or so, let off and troubleshoot.

Ok.... It is an issue at the tank not with the led... It needs to have a ground and it is not getting it although I don't see how that works same device gives level alarms... I don't see how it knows if the alcohol is on....

Anyway I cranked the rod in a couple turns... and ran it again about 18 psi...it seems to be a little stronger... It did kinda break the tires loose in 1st gear from a dead punch and pegged the speedo (85mph) by about the 1000 ft mark on my test strip by the house.... So I went back and checked fuel pressure it was set a 46 psi so I reduced that to 43... Then I cranked the rod in another 2 turns... no more testing today .. used about 1/2 a jug of juice... I guess I was expected a hit like nos or something.... I don't know when it is starting to spray but it is spraying and is not stumbling.... wish I had some indication on when it was on .... I figure with the bigger .050 nozzle I am rich on the alcohol.... I think the guy was running high 10s with it... about 27 psi.. I have the pump speed set in the middle position.

I don't own an scan tools... but I did not hear anything ping or knock wise..
yes I know I need a scan tool....

Is the system one with the pump in the tank? If it is the pump may be corroded and not flow properly. You may need a new pump.

Yes in the tank... I flow tested it and it flowed pretty well...
It also used about 1/2 tank of alcohol in maybe 10 runs...not 1/4 mile runs even...most just punching it from 40 and running to about 80...
