Can it be done? The line itself is good but the fittings are leaking on one end.
 
it can be done. you need to see how old the line is and if its worth saving. if the rubber line looks ok then you need to recut and replace the fitting.
 
very few parts warehouses(autozone,pepboys,etc.) carry an fittings. the places that carry them by me are more performance oriented.
 
I'm assuming you haven't done this before. Make sure you tape the line (well) where you're going to make the cut and then cut thru the tape. If not the braid will unravel and you have a mess. Masking tape works fine for this, use plenty when cutting.
