Flex Fuel Sensor

What flex fuel sensor is everyone running? Are you running one from the 2012 and newer GM vehicles (plastic type) or are you running one from 2002-2005 (big metal type)? Did you install the sensor in the return line next to the tank? Has anyone installed the sensor pre-fuel filter? Your help and advise will be greatly appreciated!!

I have read the them. Have not heard of any other sensor other than the 2002-2005 (12568450 or 12570260) sensor. I am really wanting to know about the 2012 GM sensor.

The pin-out IS on the GM pigtail....it is VERY faint but it is there. See photo below. Thanks to all that have assisted in this info.

Have you tried it? Are the pinouts the same?

I haven't, just now doing some research into it and came across this new sensor. I haven't been able to find the pin outs or the signals that it uses.

I posted the signals above. They are exactly the same as the 2002-2005 sensor.

Oh, I wasn't sure if that was for the old one or the new one. So by what you have found, the new sensor should work just like the old one. They are cheaper on ebay than the old ones. Are you planning on running this with the FAST system, or just to have an ethanol percentage gauge all of the time?

I'm running the older big style one. Here is how I ran it. Obviously your setup will be slightly different but thats the best spot I found for it..right by that hanger..anywhere behind that tank area should do the job. The new in line one from ProEFI is super sleek and sexy...wish they had it back when I did it.
