As you can imagine, a lot of classics were lost in the 3 hurricanes last year. Haggerty's took a good hit. Entire collections are now gone. You gulf-coasters may find it more difficult and expensive to get coverage and they may require an evacuation plan similar to marine insurance.

Also, insurers and the National Insurance Crime Bureau have set up a publicly accessable online database of flood damaged totals. No one wants to get stuck with a re-titled loser. Check out www.nicb.org

I was reading where CarFax automatically went and labeled all cars titled in the affected hurricane ZIP CODE as a potential flood cars or flagged them to read that anyway. You guys in the gulf states might want to run a CarFax on your cars to see what it says. I'm not sure what the process is to eliminate the flag is. Good Luck.
