Flywheel ????????

Is there any identifing mark on the stock flywheel for an 87 GN? A casting number or does anyone even know the amount of teeth?

It is .105" thick
Gaer is .450" thick
160 teeth on the gear
13 3/8" in diameter

Can only reed a few numbers of the part number on mine.

The stock flexplate will have "TURBO" stamped into it. The NA flexplate looks identical but as someone mentioned, the balance is slightly different due to the heavier turbo pistons.

Where is "TURBO" stamped into the flex plate?

Clean the flex plate off. It will be stamped into the flat area of the flex plate next to the holes. Email me later on and I can snap a pic of one to show you.

Don't you know it!
I got a new JW flex plate but that dont mean I should not clean that old one off - thing has been on the garage floor for months and its getting crusty!
