I'd like to take my wife today and throw her off a cliff.

Any other married guys on here feel like that from time to time?

Rich:mad:

WELL IF YOU DID, BELIEVE ME - YOU'D WANT TO THROW HER OFF A CLIFF. OUTTA HERE WITH HER NONSENSE.

Those were very clever ways of "not" agreeing with QuickWE4. Good one.

OK, I'll bite, why do you want to throw her off a cliff? You're not planning a trip to Arizona are you?

cliff's wife

someone can throw my wife off a cliff, under a buss or over a buss. thanks ted

hahahaha, no not serious about the cliff throwing.

But I am going to go home and lock myself in the garage so I can tool around on the WE4 tonight. At least my WE4 is always happy to see me and doesn't give me a freakin' attitude for no reason. Just feed her Sunoco GT 100 and keep the oil fresh and she treats me right (the car, not the wife).

Rich :D

Yup. Right about now. Came home to find the A/C on and the windows open and the A/C cranked down. Oh, she forgot. Maybe I'll forget to pay the power bill this month, bet that will keep her from forgetting.

And why is it that if you screw up, that sh!t will stay fresh in her mind forever, and she will bring it up whenever she can, but when she screws up, even if it happened yesterday, it was "a long time ago"? Whatever. Must be nice to be totally illogical and get away with it.

I'm just a 195 lb. weakling, so I couldn't throw my wife off anything!

---fortunately, I don't want to! :D

...but since she's the 3rd wife, I DO know where you're coming from, my man... piece of advice, don't throw her off a cliff. She's apt to grab hold of your belt, and drag your ass right along with her (just to piss you off!)

Exactly. My wife has a habit of calling me a "drama queen" any time I'm pissed about something but she's allowed to be as pissed off and ornery as she wants. And God forBID I call her a drama queen or say that she's getting overly dramatic about something. That f*cker. Screw her. She can go shove her head up her a*ss.

you think YOU are a weakling? i am only 140 lbs! alot of women weigh more than i do...haha

actually i felt that way with my ex girlfriend LOTS of times...we were basically married without the documents...she would do so many annoying things i had to grit my teeth all the time...i guess when you are with the same person for so long over and over things really start to irritate you, even the littlest things...it's just life and how it is

Our fights usually blow over by the next day, but you just want some way to grant them some common sense. I usually can't DRAG a decision out of my wife, or an opinion. On anything. I TRY! Then, out of the blue she'll say I'm too controlling. She can't explain or give any examples. I tell her to explain what I've done, without using the words "always" or "never" or "all the time." She can't do it. Women get mad at something that just happened and then spread it over the last year. She comes back down to Earth after a chance to cool down, but man, they can lose it. On top of that, if there is something wrong, they don't want to fix it! Let's discuss a solution! No, they just want to "feel" about and not get to the root of the problem to avoid future outbursts. I don't know. We have a great relationship and rarely fight. When we do calm down and talk, it's usually something work related that put her in a mood and it gets taken out on me.

oh, we rarely fight. Can't remember the last time we had a little squabble that wasn't resolved quickly. This will probably resolve itself in a few hours.

She's in the other room pouting right now, giving me the silent treatment.

WELL YOU KNOW WHAT? I'LL BE SILENT FOR A GODD*MNED MONTH BECAUSE I'M INSANE AND I DON'T CARE. IN FACT, THE BREAK FROM HER YAPPING IS DOING ME GOOD RIGHT NOW.

And I would like to underscore one thing: I didn't do anything to create this situation. She's an emotional pile right now for some reason, and I'll be it's coinciding with a visit from Aunt Red.

Thanks for listening.

Rich

At least once a day, isn't that what being married is all about? 10 years this month.
