I have the concert surround sound and the original speakers in all locations. What I want to do is replace the dash speakers with some good speakers that have some bass blockers. I want to add 5.25 speakers in the doors but want speakers WITHOUT tweeters, just a mid. I will disconnect the 4X10's in the rear. Can somebody point me in the right direction on good brands and so forth? I don't want to add any amps and will be running a head unit from a late model GM car.

I bought some pioneer componet speakers. 5 1/4 for the doors with tweeters that go in the dash. Crossovers are included. They sound good for the price.
