The i/c got plumed in friday. I can only run 10 pds of boost cause I keep blowing off i/c hoses. I need the heavy duty hose clamps and I just have regular hose clamps on for now. But at 10 pds of boost it is amazing. I can't wait to crank it up and see if I can kill myself. Should eaisily get into the 12's now.

I got about 16 pds of boost in it now and it puts me back into my seat. I am extremly happy with the combo. It cost me $1250 all together to go intercooled. Now all I need is a big ass turbo and some injectors and I'm on my way to the 11's.

All in all was it worth it in the end or would you rather of gone with the TM kit? How hard was the instalation when you look back at it could someone with not a huge amount of knowledge do it or leave it to the experts.

Thanx Aaron

I used the intake from the t/m kit. I bought the intake t/b and inlet bell and the other small things. The i/c I bought from a ford dealership that I happen to work for. I bought most of the 3" inch pipe from napa. The i/c hoses and clamps came from a semi truck shop. I had a local exhaust shop fit it all together and they made one 14" section of the pipe. The one that comes off the turbo.
As for installing it yourself, it was not to bad. The biggest problem was getting the i/c in. I had to remove the whole front end. I had to remove my radiator core supports and torch holes into the support. I had to cut up my headlight bezel and relocate the adjusters on the high beams to the other side of the headlight bezel. I had so take the headlight bezel from the left side and use it for the right side and vis versa. The intake was kind of a pain to install but not that bad. Some things were hard to get to because of the raise plenum on the intake. I will take some pics when I have some time.
