forum color scheme

when did the background color get switched to the dead looking gray? is it supposed to represent a GN that's been sitting in the sun since 1987? what was so bad about the nice vivid black background that made everything pop?

also, the yellow buttons with white writing: what's up with that?

This is much better on my eyes. The black with yellow text gave me a headache.
