Franklin, North Carolina

My mom owns a house in Franklin, North Carolina. (about 1 1/2 hours east of murphy).

We (my wife and kids and I) are thinking of relocating from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to Franklin.

Anybody on here from Franklin?

Anybody know of any jobs in Franklin? I do Cisco networking (computers).

COUNTRY! It's a very nice place for sure, but it's small town living at it's finest. I'm about a 1.5 hr from there so I'm not very sure of the job market. Definitley will be a big change from Ft. Lauderdale. Keep us posted if you make the move.

Beautiful country, very few routers out that way. I've tried on and off to find a systems job in Asheville ('cause I love the mountains) with no luck. Your best bet may be with a RTP, Greensboro, or Knoxville company that'll let you telecommute. 9600 telnet to yer boxes at work...

Don't let me put you off, the NC mountains are a beautiful place to live (or to visit frequently, in my case)
