Looking for the thin (1/4 to 3/8" diameter) front upper fender braces The passenger side goes over the antifreeze reservoir.
I don't want the thick ones.

This was something olds and pontiac did. I don't think you can use those on our cars. The hole is there but it won't line up. The only option is the shorter thicker ones. Even tho the overflow bottle seems to be molded for those long ones I don't think they work.

Hey! That's the ALCOHOL reservoir! :D

I saw a car at a cruise in Hickory, NC that had the thin supports and everything fit fine. As I recall, the supports came off a Oldsmobile but don't know what year/model/etc. o rwhere I might find one.

Pssssst! All ya gotta do is get long ones from under the hood of G-body bonnevilles or full size cadillacs, or even buy new conduit at home depot, cut them to the size you need, flatten the ends in a vice, drill bolt holes in flattened ends........and attach.

John you forgot to tell him to get a can of Rustoleum satin black spray paint. ;)

You're slippin' dude. :p

Mike,

Thanks Conrad but I was looking for a pic of them installed on a Buick. The overflow bottle is different and when a friend of mine try to install them they would not work on a Buick. It was never an option on the Buicks and the inter fender is different.

I saw them on a GN several weeks ago. Will have to quiz the owner to see if he changed anything but I remember he told me it was a direct bolt in.

Those skinny ones are as flimsy as a coat hanger! IMO
The thicker ones that Kirban and other vendors sell will stiffen up this area far better I would think.
