front spring location

In the process of changing the upper control arm bushings,i noticed the end of the coil spring is covering the single hole to the outside. I think this end should be 180 degrees toward the inside , covering one of the two holes there. Now is this not a big deal or should i get a spring compressor and spin it , will it affect handling.
 
ok this must be a stupid question , i cant belive GM and other repair manuals would say such a thing.
 
I personally think it would only make a slight difference in ride height, but it would be tough to notice a handling difference.
 
Thanks ungn that will make things easier not having to mess with the springs.
