Front wheel size

I have an '81 Regal and the front tires rub the fender. so what is the biggest front i can fit without rub or backspacing?

depends..
are you asking about a 14" wheel, an 18" wheel, or something in between?

Well right now i'm running a 15 and I'm thinking that a 215/60/15 should fit fine, but I was wondering if I could go bigger.
