1986 GP 2+2 NASCAR edition runs good but needs EXTENSIVE rust work. I am including a 1984 GP 3.8L/auto with rebuilt engine and transmission as a parts car for the 2+2 in virtually rust free condition. Both cars run good and shift good and both have good clear Tx titles. I just don't have the funds or time to work on it at this time; you know, too many projects and not enough cash lol asking $5500 for both vehicles plus the ride home(or drive them home if you want) just no current registration and inspection.
The Aerocoupe was designed in part by the living legend himself Richard "the King" Petty to compete against the Thunderbird at the time. I believe it was outlawed by NASCAR but not 100% sure. It is a 1 year run as you may already know. Will need total resto but parts car had all the parts you'll need.

Wow. I haven't seen one of those on the road since about 1990. Cool car. I hope somebody snags it and gets it back on the road looking like new.

Yeah, price is somewhat negotiable. I just won't be able to get to it any time soon(maybe in 10yrs!). It will be worth more by then.

I belIeve that NASCAR rules dictate a production based car for competition. Petty's design dates back to around 1982 but I may be wrong. All the 2+2's were silver from the factory. Mine was "customized" when I bought it. It will be going back to original or possibly do a number 43 homologation.

ohhh ok.. i thought it was some special edition car.. theres a few 2+2's running around my area.. i saw a ratty one two days ago...
