Putting my GN on the block!
87 GN hard top (VERY typical GM 80's paint, looks great from 10 feet).
Interior aside from the sagging headliner is in very good condition(no rips tears in seats or dash area). Full
compliment of Autometer gauges(Electric Fuel Pressure, Oil Pressure, 30/30
boost/vac gauge, Temp and Knock, etc)..Also have Scanmaster 2.2 mounted on
Dash.
Body has 65,000 miles on it, engine and tranny and rear differential have
less than 2000 miles with 4 track runs (mid 11's on 18psi with zero tune! , only rust is on drivers door/fender where they meet from the door
being hung incorrectly.
1984/85 GN Wheels, with a spare set of 8.5" wide with Mickey Thompson ET
Street Drag Radials(275/50/15) mounted.
Stock spec Moog springs in the front and Moog/TRW Cargo springs in the rear.
Bilstein shocks all around.
ATR (1 5/8") rear sway bar.
Stretched ThunderFab(15 Row) stock location intercooler
Engine:
Original block bored .20 over. RJC Engine Girdle. CAT forged crank. K-1
Forged Rods, Diamond Forged Pistons. Comp Cams 208 Roller Revolution cam.
100psi Springs with stock rockers mounted on RJC HD shafts. Heads ported and polished by
VPE Racing, flow about 50cfm over stock. RJC Steel headgaskets. All internals, valvetrain and
electrical parts(cam sensor, ignition, etc) all have under 2000 miles.
Turbo is a Cottons CPT 66 Dual Ball Bearing model, it is manufactured by
Turbonetics and I think it is also sold as a T66BB. It has a 4" inlet and
2.5" outlet. MPE Racing 65mm Throttlebody. Stock Doghouse ported to match
the TB. RJC PowerPlate between Doghouse and intake manifold. Intake also
ported and all gasket matched. Currently has GM Type II Ignition (hot wired)
conversion with GM Methanol Coils and Russ Merritt Wires! AC Delco CR 43TS plugs gapped at .032.
Hi-Torque Mini Starter. 3" Houston Downpipe. 60lb Mototron/Siemens Deka
injectors, with Hot wired injector harness. MAF Translator with LT-1 MAF.
ATR All stainless 2.5" Dual exhaust system with Stainless mufflers.
Manual Dump Pipe(replaces the Cat. Converter)
Razors(Alky-Control) Progressive Methanol Injection kit.
TurboTweak Version 6.0 Wideband AFR Tracking(with Innovate LM-1 installed), Powerlogger Chip.
Powerlogger with latest firmware updates.
Tranny was rebuilt by Mike's Auto in Chesilhurst Billet servo and billet forward drum. Alto
widebands, Extra OD Clutch
Torque Converter is a Vigilante 9" "O Pump" multi disc..Stalls about 32-3400
rpm's.
Hasn’t been run in some time.. Needs a gas tank change(have new tank), fuel filter(ran car with old gas, Stabil didn’t work!!)
I have most of the parts for the spring cleaning, fuel filter,extra Baldwin oil filters, Few gallons of Shell Diesel oil(original levels of Zinc, etc)
Extra spark plugs, etc etc..
With the right love and attention, it’s an easy 10 second car…I have neither time nor money to continue with it.. Looking to get $10k for it,
