I'm replacing my fuel filter and noticed that there are o-rings for both the inlet and outlet fittings. Does anyone have the part number of the o-ring or the dimensions of the o-ring? Is the o-ring for the supply line fitting to the fuel rail the same one as the one for the fuel filter? I went to the Buick dealer today and their books does not show any o-rings for the filter fittings.

I believe there are 2 sizes of 0 rings in the fuel system, the fuel filter takes the larger of the two, have them look for a early 90's chevy truck or late 80's
I believe also as they take the same filter, GM in their ifininte wisdom changed the part number from a A/C GF 481 to a GF 652. HTH

Thanks for the information Ron!

I thought that there had to be some type of o-ring when I looked at the fittings of the new filter that I bought. I was surprised that the books at the dealership would omit these o-rings since the parts book that the dealer have usually shows everything.

After installing the filter yesterday I found out that the o-ring for the fuel filter is the same one that is used for the fuel rail supply line.

Like Ron mentioned earlier that there are only two sizes of o-rings for the fuel system. The part numbers are:

Fuel Line 'O' Rings Return line at fuel pressure regulator: 22516256
Fuel Line 'O' Rings Feed line at fuel rail and fuel filter: 22514722
