Hello all. I am a New Owner of one 1984 V-6 SFI Turbocharged Grand National. and I ran across a somewhat serious problem. We can't get good fuel anymore. even though I went through the motor, nothing I did would smoth it out. Not untill I ran across a link here did I see the Basic problem. our Octain is way to low to run this Beast. so I have had to fall Back on octain boost or in my case, Witches brew. I was wondering if anyone else has had to resort to these measures and if so what mixes they find works well. I curantly am working with Tolouene and Turbo oil with a side of Mineral spirits to keep it all clean. at the tales are true. once you start playing with your fuel, you'll never fuel up at the pumps the same.......TURBO ROCKS!
