I'm trying to verify what injectors are on my car, best I can make out (they're black injectors)
there is a 927 at the top of the injector and 0 280 250 2 in a string around the outside of the bigger rounder part of the injector.

The guy I got it from said 52 or 55# injectors.

It's also got a T-44 turbo and some exhaust work, but it seems no upgraded FPR and I'm not sure about fuel pump. It has an old ANS chip in it, when I get into boost (the factory gauge is near pegged out) and starts showing a LOT of knock retard on my Scanmaster (I also have a powerlogger).

Car runs fine and strong, and unless you really get into the boost (10+ on the factory gauge) I see no knock retard on the scanmaster at all.

All help is much appreciated :)

They're terribly tiny, and hard to make out, so I used a piece of chalk to try and make it easier to read, but I'm pretty sure that there is no more numbers in the second row, I might have some of them WRONG but I'm pretty sure it's 8#'s and then 3#'s on the row up above it on the "neck" or whatever, 927

so maybe 0 280 150 2 927 (would that make any sense?)

I found some online list and those numbers show up as a bosch injector but... not buick:
Stan Weiss' - Electronic Fuel Injector (EFI) Flow Data Table

0-280-150-927 but I'm pretty sure the bottom line is 8 digits not 7.

Edit: I'll take a freakin magnifying glass out there tomorrow maybe that'll help :D

"I found some online list and those numbers show up as a bosch injector but... not buick".
Bosch makes injectors, but the auto mfgrs don't, so U won't see a car brand listed.
The 0280... string of numbers is what you use to ID the injs. The other #'s are likely batch identifiers.

You were right! I took a bright flashlight out there and sure enough, there's 2 more digits!

Looks like 218 it is, that last one "might' be a 3 or 9 but I'm pretty sure it's an 8.

Sounds like stockers, hmm supposedly these were upgraded injectors, 55 or 52# maybe someone was mislead?

Most likely..

that's your problem. if the chip is set for 55's and you have 28's.. the fuel volume is WAAAAY short!

The chip is way old (ANS made it, apparently they've been out of business for a while now).

A new chip is a definite.

Assuming a stock fuel supply (pump/fpr) and the TE44 turbo and upgraded exhaust, what injectors should I look at and should I go ahead and upgrade the FPR to an adjustable one and the fuel pump to a bigger one at the same time?

I'm shooting for a high 11 second outcome if possible.

And thanks for your help :)

I would go with 60s.
Walbro 340 fuel pump with hotwire.
An adjustable FPR
A Turbotweak chip.

Also, is your ecm modified for low impedance injectors like #55's? If so, you'll want to change that if you go to high impedance. Just a thought!!

Well it seems I'm running stock injectors now so I'm guessing it's not modified at all. (edit)Turbotweak has the 60's that work with existing ecm, figure I'll get that + chip and then I'll verify my fuel pump is or is not stock (or at least not up to the job) and then replace that if necessary.

Nope..

A lo imp ecm will handle the hi imp injs just fine... They create less load on the drivers.

Just placed an order for 60# injectors and a custom chip from turbotweak hopefully I'll find my FP is already hot wired/upgraded.
