Ok, here's the story: Someone I know has a hot air and wants to use an alky kit he put together. So he has to run a solenoid right? What he did was drill out the end of a fuel injector or something like that so it just flows through without spraying, and hooked that into the line. It works great but I thought I remember something about fuel injectors failing with alky/water. If this is right what fails? I don't want him to blow his engine or anything

im not sure but i think you need it to atomize the alky and water with an orifice of some kind im not sure if doing that will work well good luck

Actually it's just run inline so the car doesn't injest alky while driving (being used as a solenoid). He has a spray nozzle on it.

Pressure triggered solenoid is how its done when nozzle is placed into a vacuum.
