I have a 87 T-type from up north and its got some rust, I was Going to fire it for the first time last week (bought it last month, Trailerd it to NC and have been relplacing Fuilds and Filters) than a Fuel Line popped on me. i have never done any knid of repair to fuel lines. Looking for some help, I was wondering if i should switch to Braded Steel from front to back, does any one make a addpator to switch that tread to GM's Fuel rail thread?

Any Help is good help

Joe

You might first determine where the fuel is coming from and the cause. It may just be a connection leaking.
If leaking on the passenger side of the car, if the motor mounts are loose the crossover bolts can possibly hit the return line and wear a hole in the line there just behind the front tire.
You should be able to find various fuel line adapters at the local auto or speed shop.

Braided lines work real nice. Just be careful how you run them (you don't want the serpenine belt getting a hold of one).

RS;)

where did you get the lines? Is it from front to back on your car? if not where and how did you splice them in?

THanks
