I would also suggest a different maf. If your warm idle numbers are in fact 7 or 8, there's definately a problem there, and only hitting 208 adds to the problems. You've got a maf that's way out of calibration. Sounds like what you'd see out of most remanufactured mafs.

OBTW, it's gps(grams per second), not gph(grams per hour). ;)

Thanks guys, i'll check this again today, the maf i run is one off a 20,000 mile car that i just bought about 700 miles ago. Could this be why it runs go at low fuel press like 33psi with the vac line off , and it seems to run to rich if any thing close to 40 psi with the line off. If this is it then i think i'll go the lt1 style maf.

be back soon

I tryed it again , tell it hits about 165* it stays at 8 at idle, then when a little hotter it go's down to 5 gps at idle. As for WOT, first blast was from 2nd gear and it stayed at 141 gps then the next blast read 35 gps but it seemed to run ok for such a low reading , might just be the scan tool , but seems to be reading every thing else ok at the time.

should i be hitting 255gps at 17psi boost .

Well i tryed my brothers 84 maf just to see if the numbers would go up and they stayer at 151 gps. So i just dont no if it the maf , the scan tool or something else now.

As for the fuel press guys i tryed to up it and start at 40psi with the vac line off and it had some bad knock , i uped it to 44psi vac off and it knocked real bad to where i could not get it to shift or pull what so ever. The lower and closer i got to 33-34 psi the better it ran and the knock want away.

man this is crazy.
