Fuel Pressure at idle

What should the fuel pressure be at idle? Trying to figure out if I have a weak pump.

Idle pressure won't usually show a bad pump. You need to monitor the pressure under full load operating conditions (ie.. wot 3rd gear).... a bad pump can usually supply proper pressure at a low flow (idle) condition, but will not maintain pressure (rising with boost) under a high flow demand situation..... of course, you will need some way of watching fuel pressure while driving..... :wink:

You can run a hose up and guage to the windshield for this procedure.
