Being that with all the mods i have I can only run 12.5psi w/o getting KR, I wanna pick up a fuel pressure gauge. I haven't had much luck finding a mechanical kit as TR doesn't sell one anymore with the bracket.

I'd prefer a mechanical one (hood mount) due to price. Electric one I saw that matches my other gauges is $202, plus I need to find a spot to mount it cause my dual a-pillar has boost and oil.

Is there anywhere that still sells the hood mount mechanical gauge with the bracket?

It's a pretty nice set and I thought the same thing when I saw the ad. The bottom of the bezel has a
90 degree lip that slides perfectly into the mounding of the lower windshield. I assure it stays in place at well over
100mph:). I usually just put up there when I'm tuning and then tuck it by the master cylinder when not needed.
The only thing you will need is Schrader valve removal tool and some Teflon tape or paste to hook it up.

I got a Cyberdyne digital with sender for cheap - the deals are out there...

If you want a mechanical one, you can cobble one together for much less than $73.00

which oil pressure gauge did you buy from gbodyparts that sits on the windshield? the one for 40 or 70 bucks?

Looked into that company. Seemed reasonably priced (almost half of autometer) but a TON of reviews online said their gauges are shit.

Thanks for the replies. Prolly go with the $75 hood mount kind and save me the cash of the electronic gauge and a new three gauge pod.

IMO, I went the three gauge pod route at one time and ended up hating it. Too much shit to look at. If you do that and add a fuel gauge right up on the cowl, you're going to spend the whole time staring at gauges instead of enjoying the car. A decent, reliable rail mounted gauge can be had for ~$30 plus the right fittings.

Also, the three gauge pods will warp like hell in the heat and end up looking shitty when you look through your windshield from the outside. Trust me.

FYI, I bought this not too long ago and it was the best $42 (and free shipping) I've spent in a long time. The gauge is large, easily readable, and has a rubber cover so you can tape it to your windshield easily to test pressure under boost. The hose is six feet long so it will reach with no problem. You can also use it to drain your tank with the vinyl tube if need be. Also, it comes ready to go right out of the bag; no need for any of the adapters: The permanent fitting on the hose end will screw right onto the schrader valve and has the little pintle so you don't even need to remove the schrader valve from the rail. Takes 10 seconds to install and remove.

That really was my only concern with all this: too many gauges. I really just wanted to get the fuel pressure down pat but was under the assumption (and I guess the incorrect one?) that fuel constantly needed to be monitored. If that's not the case ill forgo any constant monitoring of the fuel psi as I'd prefer to keep the stock look as much as possible
