Fuel pressure question

Will high fuel pressure damage the injectors? One day at the track I use the dump I just bought, car was leaning out so I up the fuel pressure. I got it set up at 52lbs (line off) and got a good 02 voltage at WOT at 780. But when I run it through my Mufflers I will have to turn down the fuel pressure to around 48 lbs (line off). Does it mean I need bigger injectors?

Are you sure your fuel psi gauge is correct? The 009s should handle 12.7 at 109 no problem. 52 psi seems like an aweful lot!! especially plus 24 psi of boost. Also, your exhaust shouldn't be thaaat much of a restriction(the 3" dauls, etc.) Maybe the stock IC is causing a backup, maybe.
